Voted Smith, but I kinda wanted to vote Anger, too.
Hard to believe our consensus best player might not even be on the team next year.
I'd add Scobee at some point. _________________

Daryl Smith. The entire defense changes for the better with him in the game. A rare player in that he is able to have such a huge impact from the 4-3 OLB position. Only a couple of other 4-3 OLBs in the NFL with similar impact. |
Smith is a FA, and how can you not vote for Anger? I thought that was your boy _________________ 2nd place in Jaguars forum USJJC 2012

I voted Poz. But it's hard to choose really, and i thought long and hard about Monroe and Smith. Could easily make a case there too.
In the end, i think the leadership Poz seems to show with this team pushed him ahead of Smith who is the more talented player probably. And it's hard to vote our best player as a guy who barely played last year, and could well be gone come next season. Despite his struggles at times this year when the cast around him was garbage, i think Poz is still a top-tier MLB and the fire he shows is important to the team.
Monroe also worthy of consideration, but i still wonder how much of him looking outstanding is influenced by just being head and shoulders above the rest of the O-Line. I mean...everyone looks tall when they stand next to a bunch of midgets. _________________

went with monroe. outside of qb, left tackle most important position (imo). i guess i'd add lewis or maybe landry? to the poll.
