|
|
|
| Quote: | | According to a league source, the Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Donald Jones have been working on a contract extension. The two sides hope to have a new deal in place before the NFL free agency period begins in March when Jones is scheduled to become a restricted free agent. |

***Update**
| Quote: | Bills WR Donald Jones is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason, but he will not be tendered by the Bills and will not be re-signed by Buffalo.
That according to Bills GM Buddy Nix
“We have made the decision not to re-sign Donald,” said Nix. “We’re going in a different direction and this move today gives Donald the opportunity to catch on with another team early on in the process. We thank him for his years with our organization and wish him the best in the future.” |

Solid depth, other than him we have Nelson who's never healthy either and Graham who can't catch a cold barefooted in Alaska.
Like it, as long as it's for a good price tag and we manage to keep at least one of Byrd, Levitre. _________________

Thank god.
Now we'll have Stevie, Nelson (hopefully) and a big CJ type of WR. And for depth we have Graham, Easley and probably someone in the draft.
No more 5 wide sets thank god, lets stick to running the ball. _________________

My personal preference would be obviously Dwayne Bowe, but from the draft I would say Aaron Dobson from Marshall.
Nix has been saying for a while that he wants a big body at wideout, I know he has a plan, we just have to wait for it to come into fruition. _________________

Ahh I see. I thought you meant we already had him. I'd love to get a bigger WR too, as a compliment to Stevie. _________________

Sign Bowe, draft Geno.

Well it was suppose to be Easley but obviously that never happened. Though i still hold out hope for him. _________________

It's been three years and we keep saying that he's "going to turn that corner" and I think it's time that we accept that he's just not going to and move on. _________________

I dont expect easley back either, he never did what everyone thought he was going to do. I think the bills pick atleast 1 wr in FA and draft 2 (one early on and the other late). They need depth and Donald Jones was getting injured and clearly wants to get paid some money so freeing him up and bringing in a new guy would make sense since this is the time to do it with a new coach coming in. I expect more changes for the bills hopefully soon _________________

I would rather double up on WR in FA then the draft because then you get somewhat proven guys and with only having 6 draft picks, I'm not sure we can afford to spend two on WR. _________________
