I don't understand the hate on Keenan Allen.

You need to reassess your view on Keenan Allen. He's not gonna blow anyone away with his staight line speed, but he's not a "slug" by any means...

He's gets in/out of his breaks quicker than 90% of the other WRs in this class, which is extremely relevant at the postion. Just ask Isaac Bruce or Torry Holt...

He is NOT slow. I would rather have a guy like him who runs excellent routes and makes people miss and can go up and catch a ball anywhere in his realistic radius than an Oakland raider track star.

Allen will still run a decent 40.

I always find myself agreeing with you and liking the same prospects haha..
I think Allen is the best receiver in this class and while he may not be the fastest in the class, he is certainly not slow. Let's not forget that Allen is 6'3, which isn't your typical tiny speedster. He's a pre-ready receiver with great hands and runs great routes, with great agility to go. I'll take him over any other receiver in the draft. and to all of you falling in love with Patterson; I think you guys are all in for a surprise once he hits the NFL. I dont see a great receiver in him one bit

Haha hey I welcome the Keenan love, this kid will be a great NFL WR and I really hope Fish & Snead agree enough to take him should he be available.

As for Patterson, We disagree slightly. While i dont think he will be a star, I think he will be a playmaker and definitely help a team. Is he a #1 WR? No, but he could be a really good #2. Again, he falls under my very much hated "potential" category.

I just think we need speed, aside from Givens we have next to no speed at that positin. Allen has very little acceleation IMO.
