Interesting the tidbits of mutual respect between Peterson and Jennings. Maybe its destiny. _________________

but we can dream. More likely than not he'll be a Miami Dolphin come next season. A better connection is there.
I've grown fond of Jennings. As long as he no longer plays for the Packers, Bears or Lions (or Ravens, Bengals or Browns) I'll support him. _________________

Bowe and Wallace could also be viewed as better fits for the Dolphins, Jennings to Miami is no sure thing. My guess is that Bowe signs with the Dolphins. He is younger, doesnt have health concerns and is from Miami. _________________

Wide receiver Greg Jennings has put his Green Bay house on the market and all signs continue to point toward his departure from the Packers in free agency.
Less clear is where Jennings might be playing next. A lot of teams have been thrown out as potential landing spots and a few of them came up during an interview with Lindsay Rhodes of the NFL Network. Jennings said he’d have no trouble jumping to the Packers’ NFC North rivals in Minnesota, saying all 31 teams would be an option, and he was a bit more expansive when asked about the possibility of reuniting with former Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin with the Dolphins.
Jennings: “I wouldn’t mind that at all. The weather’s definitely nice. They have an up and coming quarterback and they definitely have a defense that’s pretty solid and some pieces on offense that are pretty solid as well.”

Jennings is creating a market for himself.
Its exactly what he should do.
Any team with cap space (or potential cap space) is an option right now.
My prediction, is we will be that team that is used by the agent to leverage better deals from other teams. _________________

It always happens to us.
I doubt we sign him, but I do think we will pursue him hard.
But at the end of the day, it'll just be another TJ Houshmanzadeh, Sidney Rice kind of deal.
Hell, watch Seattle steal another WR from us... _________________

Jared Allen says no, it doesn't.
Winfield, Pat Williams, and many others agree. _________________

The point is, we've been snubbed plenty of times recently.
Thats why I could totally see a team (like Seattle) pursue Jennings after us and offering him a deal he won't regret. _________________

Honestly? I think Jennings has seen more then enough of Christian Ponder to realize he doesn't want to finish out his career in Minnesota. The Vikings will be used for strictly leverage here. You can't go from dating a 10 (Rodgers) to dating a solid 6 (Ponder). Tannehil atleast has a hose, some promise and in a system he is very comfortable with. Jennings will be a Dolphin...book it.
Plus mediocre QB play is much more tolerable in 80 degree weather.

As opposed to guaranteed 70 degree weather 9 games every year? You act like Miami never plays in cold weather. _________________

You act like I'm talking about only game time weather. I hear living in Miami Monday through Friday is pretty enjoyable. |

He's a Michigan native who has spent his entire professional career in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Maybe he likes the cold? _________________
