So I seen someone post that the NFL had released a preliminary schedule of opponents for teams. I checked it out and found 4-5 websites with the same opponents for the Colts.
http://www.fbschedules.com/nfl-13/2013-indianapolis-colts-football-schedule.php
| Quote: | Home
Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Denver, Oakland, Arizona, St. Louis,
AFC East*
Away
Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Kansas City, San Diego,
San Francisco, Seattle, AFC North*
* Team from that division that finishes in the same spot in the 2012 standings.
- Opponents in italics are tentative. |
Our AFC East Opponent could be the Dolphins or Jets depending on how today's games finish.
Our AFC North Opponent will be the Bengals.
I'm not sure how the matchups play out for the NFC West and how the home and away variable stands.
Before this season I would have told you that this would be yet another cupcake schedule even for a 10-5 (10-6/11-5) playoff team, but SF, Sea and Den are going to be tough opponents. |

Peyton's return to Lucas Oil Stadium will be huge.
The game will be on SNF, and there will be many cheesy posters around.
Also, the away NFC West fixtures at San Fran and Seattle will be great games.
IIRC, we've started the season at least 13-0 in years when playing the NFC West. _________________

Obviously the notable game is Denver going to Indianapolis.
I personally can't wait to see Wilson vs. Luck - that is going to be a great showcase of the future. _________________ Building The Monster |

I'm willing to bet Denver/Indianapolis might be the game to open the season, either that or the first Sunday nighter of the season. _________________ Mmmm...Sacrelicious! |

CBS Sports

Stampede Blue cites the same opponents
^posted Dec 31st 2012
According to three sites (FB schedules, listed in the OP, CBS Sports and Stampede Blue) all of those predictions for opponenets were correct except we get Seattle at home and Arizona on the road.

I completely forgot about the Arizona match-up on the 2013 schedule, as well..
Dang.
The Colts have a ton of interesting games this year. Return of Peyton, battle against BA, and the Luck vs. Wilson duel. I can't wait! _________________ Building The Monster |
