I dont think Hunter's hands are THAT bad. Nor do I think he has Randy Moss potential. |

Every time I see Justin Hunter play, he reminds me of Javon Walker. |

I think that's kind of his point.
He's got all world athletic ability but he's still developing as a receiver. _________________

You could say the same about Darrius Heyward-Bey coming out, but he is neither a bust or a potential all pro WR. He is a solid receiver, not so much the cliche boom or bust type. _________________

Tony Pauline @TonyPauline
Also- David Bass/DE/Missouri Western, running in the mid 4.6's in combine training...

Still a guy I really want to add in the middle of this draft. _________________

That's a comparison I hadn't thought of, actually. I can see it. |

It is two weeks away but it's already being talked about and the list of players has been released. _________________

We're cool.
It's just that I saw the thread title and then I had to google when the combine was because I was like "the combine has started already?!!!".
Note to self: Take thread titles less serious in Vikings forum.
I'll work on it. |

So we still have a 6th according to Spielman. The other one was flopped with Arizona in the Jefferson trade. _________________

Personally, I can't wait to see the OLBs, MLBs and WRs at the combine.
Really want to see how the top WRs perform to determine if one would be a good fit for the Vike's 1st Rd pick (maybe Patterson or Hopkins?) . . . and then I want to see the guys who will fit in the 3rd or 4th rounds. . . . especially Marques Wilson, Marcus Wheaton, and Chris Harper.
Then of course, ya gotta watch the big men . . . especially John Jenkins, Kawann Short, Kwame Geathers, and Montori Huges at DT (for Rds 2-4). Then for OG, have to look at 3rd - 5th Rd prospects like Larry Warford, Brian Winters and Alvin Bailey.
If the Vikes select a WR in Rd 1, I would love to see Minter at MLB or Arthur Brown/Brandon Jenkins at OLB in Rd 2 . . . it'll be fun to watch all these guys at the combine and at their pro days. |
