Scandrick is only 25? Shocked

These are the ones that shocked me:

24 Bryant, Dez
24 Carter, Bruce
24 Murray, DeMarco
22 Claiborne, Morris
22 Smith, Tyron

.....

All of these guys could be our starters going into the next decade.

Don't you have any midgets to track down?

And just to stay on topic.....I thought I herad/read that we were one of the youngest teams (total age) last year or the year before. Icould be mistaken on that. We do have some very young/good talent to build on.

My comments on Romo were in no way a dismissal of finding an heir – in fact I am of the school of thought that you draft a QB each and every year (albeit it doesn’t have to be a high pick each year). I think Romo is our starter for another 4 years. In large part because he started his career so late, much like Captain Comeback did. In no way is this articulating the view that Romo is a HOFer, though. He has talent. And is able to play the position well. But I am not trying to draw comparisons to the elite brass – simply stating it would not surprise me to see him last a while longer at a high level.

Got it. I think Romo has taken more punishment than Favre at the same age, though, but I have no way of proving this.

I know you've been one of few who have advocated for the team to pick a QB every year or at least every couple of years. I fully agree with this line of thinking. This year would be as good as any year to take a QB in the mid- to late rounds given Romo's age, and you never know if you'll find a diamond in the rough.

Laughing I have no idea who this is, but I hope he makes the team. Plenty of good times to be had listening to announcers butcher that name.
