Larry Grant | Linebacker
Team: San Francisco 49ers
Age / DOB: (27) / 2/16/1985
Ht / Wt: 6'1' / 251
College: Ohio State
CSN Bay Area doesn't expect the 49ers to re-sign free agent ILB Larry Grant.
Grant turned in an impressive three-game cameo in place of an injured Patrick Willis in 2011, but surprisingly played just 21 snaps on defense in 2012. An unrestricted free agent, Grant will surely seek a starting job, but could have trouble finding one. Feb 6 - 7:03 PM
I like the Browns to sign him for WILB competiton with Gocong. IMO there are no other 34WILB besides Gocong on the roster.

IMO the roster already has multiple guys that could step into WILB role.
both OLBs... not so much. _________________

Yeah ILB is the least of our worries right now. We've got a logjam there, that and at NT. _________________

I feel the same way, that would be a lateral move, all Buckeye aside _________________ Murray State University Alum: Go Racers

I'd sign him. If nothing else, he provides competition at the ILB position.
OLB is our big need, though. _________________
