Desperately need a solid pass rusher inside alongside Wilfork. Make it happen Bill! _________________

Pretty much. He is a force when he's healthy and motivated. But his production never equaled his contract. _________________

Canty was very good when he was healthy. But at this point he's not worth his salary.
In hindsight, the Giants should have spent that money on Barry Cofield. _________________

Wouldn't mind the Lions getting him if we can't retain Sammie Hill and/or Corey Williams. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

Yup. During his four years in Dallas, Canty never missed a game, but he was plagued by injuries in New York.
Like others said, he was a beast when healthy, but that was few and far between. Best of luck to him, he's a good guy that does a lot of charity. _________________

Yes, he was a good 3-4 DE for Dallas. |

Played very well when he was on the field. Problem is that he was never on it. Contract too big for his services. Giants need room to sign our all-stars: Nicks, Cruz, JPP, Beatty. _________________

He played 3-4 DE in Dallas and was very underrated while there. He's starter quality as a DE. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

He was a rotational guy in Dallas in the 3-4, where he fits best. He had like 9 sacks over 4 years with the Giants in 49 games, I dunno where the great when healthy claim comes from because he certainly wasn't great in Dallas and had identical numbers out of the 3-4 end spot. Rotational pass rush guy at best, always was. _________________

Wouldn't mind him in Tennessee. He's definitely an upgrade over Sen'Derrick Marks. Casey, Canty, Martin, and Klug would make up a pretty good DT rotation. _________________
