The head coach of the school baseball team I am the assistant coach for coached Julius Peppers and Todd Gurley in high school. Pretty awesome.

Bill Simmons just said on SVP and Russillo that Carolina should draft Manti Te'o because we are "irrelevant" and could use the media exposure. Remind me to never look to Grantland for my football news again. Simmons is an ignorant Boston sports homer, nothing more nothing less.

Sorry for the rant, but that just puts me in a bad mood to wake up and hear my team get dumped on.

In other news, Virginia Commonwealth University is #24 in college hoops, great to see my alma mater doing well. Even though I have to watch the games 3,000 miles away, I'm making sure the West coast knows that you don't wanna go to war with the Rams.
