Cuts/ don't resign:
Quintin Mikell- saves nearly 10 million dollars
Rob Turner- I think he's good but not worth the money he wants
Steven Jackson- He wants to win a championship and I think he'll go to Green Bay
Danny Amendola- He'll get a better offer somewhere
Free Agents:
Delanie Walker- 3 years, 10 million-- he has really proved himself in the playoffs and he is a good recieving tight end as well as a good blocking tight end
Chris Rainey- 2 years, 2 million-- recently cut by the Steelers and he can help in the backfield as well as playing reciever and most importantly, special teams
Titus Young- 2 years, 4 million-- he was also cut but has A TON of talent and can reunite with Pettis
Aaron Curry- 1 year, 2 million-- he will be cheap and has been labelled a bust by many but might be worth it
Resign:
William Hayes- 2 years, 6 million-- he has earned some money and will help the pass rushing
Draft:
#16: Jonathan Cooper, G, He'll fill in the LG spot and can also play a little center
Trade #22 to Denver for #28 and their second round pick
(Denver selects Johnathan Hankins)
#28: Kenny Vacarro, S, He'll replace Dahl instantly
2a) Eric Reid, S, He will fit nicely next to Vacarro and will help one of the best secondaries
2b) Da'Rick Rogers, WR, he'll complete a soon to be great wide recieving core
3) Kyle Long, OT, A very athletic lineman who will fit in nicely with his brother, Chris
4) Marcus Lattimore, RB, he'll sit out a year due to his injury most likely but in the end, could be a steal
5) Tyrann Matthieu, DB/KR/PR, he can do it all and will join Rainey with special teams and give Givens a break
6) Jordan Reed, TE, he might slip due to inconsistency and if he's here, he could spend a year learning the system behind Walker and Kendricks
7) Kapron Lewis-Moore, DE, Fisher loves drafting d-lineman and this draft will be no different
Depth:
QB: Bradford
RB: Richardson, Rainey, Pead, Lattimore
WR: Givens, Rogers, Quick, Young, Pettis
TE: Walker, Kendricks, Reed
LT: Saffold
LG: Cooper, Watkins
C: Wells
RG: Dahl
RT: Long
DE: Long, Quinn, Hayes, Lewis-Moore
DT: Brockers, Langford, Sims
OLB: Dunbar, Curry
MLB: JL
CB: Finnegan, Jenkins, Johnson, Matthieu
S: Vacarro, Reid, Matthieu, Matt Daniels
KR: Rainey, Matthieu
PR: Matthieu, Rainey
What do you guys think??[/img] |

Not sure what to think, I'm one of the few that wouldn't mind taking a chance on Young, only if S-Jax returns, need the leadership. _________________

wouldn't mind taking a shot on Young but if we lose Amendola we need to take more of a sure bet than Rogers.
You'd have Rogers, Quick and Young taking up 3 WR spots and who knows what you would get from any of the three.
If you sign Young you'd be better off grabbing a Williams, Hopkins, Allen or Wheaton because they are more of a sure thing.
Your mock has huge upside and massive bust.
I also wouldn't cut Mikell. I'd restructure for sure but not cut. |

I'm assuming that Warmack and L.Johnson are gone based on our pick?
I don't think I'd be good with Cooper at #16. Theres one thing to draft and elite guard in Warmack, but to then take Cooper just because he's off the board feels like a reach to me. I don't see Cooper as top 20 talent in this draft. I'd much rather take Allen here. Heck, I think I'd be happier with Fluker.
And I don't really believe Young is talented enough to do what he alledgedly did to his team. I'll pass on a guy like that. _________________
