He wants to get paid.
He's a restricted free agent and the Giants will be 3M over the cap with holes to fill and might not give him what he's seeking. He's 26 and in his prime. How much would you offer for him? I'd do 8M. I believe you only get one chance to make an offer to a restricted free agent, right? |

A restricted free agent like that would probably cost a first round pick in addition to making a ton of money. Probably as much money as Wallace, who I think is better and would not cost a draft pick. _________________ "well, they got X player I wanted but they clearly overpaid" is the battle cry of bitter and ignorant football fans

Yea I agree. I think that he will get the full tender and require a 1st and 3rd. The Giants don't have to worry about Cruz til next offseason _________________

I like Victor Cruz. I like Mercedes. I like Beverly Hills.
I can't afford any of them. _________________

Too many resources would be required to get Cruz. We are not one piece away from the Superbowl. _________________

Bro Mercedes has lost their value from the past. Buying a mercedes when you already have a quality car doesn't really mean smart spending.
See the metaphor?
Then again, the American dream is to live in excess..... So why the hell not, lets go get Cruz. He can help this offense quite a bit. I'm sure that Salsa dance will attract fans, especially in Miami _________________

Yeah don't get me wrong, dude is worth a 1st rnd draft pk to me but:
a). NYG ain't gonna let him go, forget about it, he can name his price.
b). our regime ain't gonna fork over a 1st rnd pk & pay his salary.
just sayin, we can move on from this, stop the pain ...

Not when there are FA's hitting the market they can get without giving up picks to go along with the high dollars. _________________
