Glad to see him call it quits as a Packer. One of the all time fan favorites because of how he made it and how he worked. The guy just wanted to play football, not many guys his age would openly sign up to play special teams.

Usually a play with that many broken tackles involves the Saints. To do it against the 49ers is impressive.
Congrats to him on a successful career and knowing when he's done. _________________

Rumors were that the Vikes were interested. Wouldn't have thought less of him if he played in purple for a year or two. Great career by quicky. _________________

| I will never forget you Donald. There was a game we were being completely blown off the field. Donald was still playing hard. Landed on his neck trying to make a play. While being stretchered off he smiled, my emotions went from pure dread and sadness to uplifted because of a smile from an athlete through a television screen. If you can smile while getting smoked and injured you should be able to in 99.9% of your time on earth. Thanks for everything DD. |

A solid player who represented Green Bay and their fans in a very positive way.
Best of luck to him in his future endeavors. _________________

Honestly, my feelings when i heard this was about time. The guy hasn't been a major contributor these past 2 seasons and hit an age wall HARD this past season. I came to terms some time ago that the Driver i came to know and love as a player was long gone.
With that said, i can't even begin to stress how much I'll miss Driver the person on this football team. Was always a leader by example for the younger guys and just wanted to play the game he loves in any way to help the team and an example is him asking the Coaches to play ST's late this season. One of the best "Packer People" that has come through this historic football team. He will be missed. _________________
