I really think the Saints should trade back, pick up a good/above average OLB (Jordan,Ansah,Olgeltree, etc), get a 2nd (to draft a ball-hawking safety).
Sign Tomsula after the SB. That's a no brainer IMO! _________________

| Tomsula is my top choice! I say go Dion Jordan at 15, and try to trade up to early 2nd round and pick up a SS like Elam or Reid. |

I think that an OLB with cover skills is the Saints top need. Safety is also a need...but those guys can be found later in the draft. The NFL combine is actually going to be pretty useful this season. We need to find a 3-4 OLB with good quickness and agility and can cover. Galette is likely going to be the primary pass rusher...so the other OLB has to be capable in coverage (assuming that Martez Wilson is at his rightful home at ILB).
The guys who fit the bill definitely are Jarvus Jones and Dion Jordan. Guys like Werner, Moore, Ansah, Mingo, Montgomery, and Okefor are going to be under the microscope trying to determine if they play some run defense on the strong side & cover.
DE- Cam Jordan
NT- Bunkley
DT- Hicks
WOLB- Galette
WILB- Lofton
SILB- Wilson
SOLB- ??? (Jordan/ JJ vs. Werner, Moore, Ansah, Mingo, Montgomery, and Okefor)
CB- Robinson
CB- Greer
Nickel CB- Jenkins
Dime CB- White
FS- IAQ
SS- Harper |

I think you absolutely take Dion Jordan if he is avaible. He is all those things describe and perfect for the Saints. He fits either 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB (obviously are need), he's athletic and has lots of speed, good footwork, can play standing up, good pass rusher, good coverage skills. Best OLB in the draft IMO. Imagine our LB core, Tez, Lofton, Galette, Jordan. If Galette molds into what we want him to, that is an amazing front 7 with Hicks, Jordan, and Bunkley. We really need more of a run-stuffer at NT then inside pressure. So, Bunkley fits on well. |

Another guy I am a big fan of is Jamie Collins (USM). He was initially brought in as a secondary guy...and grew into the OLB position. Last season he primarily played DE because the team was awful and they have to find a way to manufacture a pass rush. He ended up getting 11 sacks despite the team constantly being behind (they didn't win a game last season). He is solid in coverage, against the run, and as a standup pass rusher. He is going to fly under the radar and is projected in to go in the 3rd-5th rounds. I would gladly take him in the 3rd.
