We most certainly are not set at LE. Statistically Shaughnessy was one of the worst at getting pressure this season and he's a FA. Simon is undersized at DE so I think he'll be an even better version Burris. Having said that I'd rather draft Reddick, Porter or Fauria in this situation.
You do realize that Lamarr Houston plays LE and Shaugnessy and Carter played RE for us last season, right?
We already have two linebackers that can't really cover and Simon is better suited to be a LE or 3-4 LOLB something we don't need. _________________
