Only five days until the big game. I will be watching, and I look forward to the matchup. I think it could be a great game.
But today was media day, and the biggest non-baseball news (see A-Rod) was Ray Lewis' alleged use of deer-antler spray to accelerate his recovery from a torn triceps. Lewis denies the allegations.
Anyway, back to football, who do you think will win? Will a Cowboys player make the news again this week? _________________

This game is kinda like when the Pats played the Gmen both times. I was hoping for the earth to open and swallow both teams. It comes down to who I hate less and not even that is the deciding factor.
The deciding factor for me is I don't want the Niners to get ring number 6.
So I'm pulling for the Ravens (vomit)
However I think the Niners will win. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

I'm sorry can't pull for a past foe like the 49ers. Not even that though I think the Ravens will win this game and give Ray his 2nd ring. I think Ray will have that team more then ready to play and knows what it takes to win a superbowl. Ravens win _________________

We've had to endure the Giants (twice), Steelers (twice) and Packers, do we also have to see the niners win another? Why do the football gods hate us so much. Did Jerry not make the hole big enough in Cowboys stadium? What do we have to sacrifice to the football gods to gain their favor. Please, we'll give you hockey (f* you stars, even if it was an intern you took it out o, you are in football country ). |

I think the Niners will get 6 before we do even if it's not this year. They are stacked with a young qb and superior coaching. Meanwhile Dallas is mired in mediocrity. It will be a long time before Dallas gets 6th ring. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

Do I think the Niners will be a consistent contender? Yes. Superbowl is a different matter. It's more about motivation. We've seen some less talented teams get on a roll and make it to the Superbowl. After the Ravens won their first, who would have thought with that defense, they wouldn't make it back until now.
Go Ravens. I doubly hate the Niners. I live in the Youngstown Area, which their owners family grew up, and lives. All I saw during the 80's and early to mid 90's was good luck Niners, and good luck Debartolo. Screw em. Don't want them getting number 6. |

No love for the Ravens being from Maryland?
I live in Baltimore and am die-hard Cowboys fan, but man has it been fun witnessing the celebrations, and at times joining in on the fun _________________

Not that I want them too, but I think the 9ers take control early and win by 14 |

I have no love for either team. However, I cannot, in all good conscience as a Cowboys fan, sit here and root for the 49ers to get their 6th ring before we do. That would be un-American.
Therefore, I find myself choosing the lesser of two evils and, by extending a machete to my intellectual thicket, I am keeping to the code, more like guidelines really, and rooting for the team that, by their being victorious at the end of today's carbuncle, will inflict the least amount of emotional damage to meself, that being the Baltimore Ravens, savvy? |
