Drafting a late-round Quarterback would be okay, but I want to spend our higher round picks on more pressing needs. Tannehill was dealt a pretty horrid hand his rookie season, he had no weapons to speak of and poor protection. Also considering it was his rookie season, I don't think its wise to push the "panic button" just yet. We knew Tannehill would be raw when we drafted him. Most expected him to need a year or two before he started to understand the Pro Game.
I think drafting another high-round QB would be premature, and our high round picks should be spent addressing our other, more immediate, needs.

Um, what? Aaron Rodgers was a first round pick. Personally I had him as the #1 QB in that draft class.

I'd be fine with a later round QB. In fact I would really like that.

I'm for drafting a QB every year when there's talent at the position. This year unless Barkley or Smith fall to the second round I want no part of this class.

very true and funny cause there was some talk last year that we should not draft tannehill and wait for this years class cause it was supposed to be great lol |
