I feel like DE's, DT's would actually need less time to recover from ACL's. It's not as much about weight as it is jumping and cutting, right? At least that's what I heard. When a 200 pound WR jumps it puts 3x more tension on his knee than when he runs full speed. I don't think Worthy is jumping much. It's why Derrick Rose in the NBA took so long for his ACL. Jumping all the damn time there. Also why Adrian Peterson is insane. Cutting a rug when he plays. Insane. I could be wrong about all this BTW. Not a doctor by any means but I've had doctors tell me this when I had mine done. _________________

I don't know what they might have found in surgery. But good chance this is just a writer than seen ACL and jumped. That, or the Packers medical staff did that young man a incredible disservice by getting it wrong from the beginning and costing him valuable weeks.
Good chance someone seen ACL though and jumped to conclusions. |

Man, Palmy, good thing you're on here. | His opinion is around a third of the reason I joined this forum. _________________
