Um... no. We have a GM that preaches the same philosophies as yours does (BPA and not reaching to fill needs). So why then would we trade away our two most premium picks when our OL is more than a single piece away from being remotely good.
I'm a big Eric Fisher fan, would be head over heels if we selected him at 11 if he's there, but he's not Matt Kalil or Joe Thomas. Those guys merit trading up into the Top 5 for; just because a guy is the top player at his position in his draft class doesn't mean he's worth trading away the farm to acquire.
This sounds more like you just don't like the value that your team is getting at your Top 5 pick and are looking for any easy solution to not move very far back but get maximum value. It might make sense for your club - it doesn't for ours. _________________
