Armstrong, who has long denied doping, will also offer an apology during the interview scheduled to be taped Monday at his homeowner Austin, Texas, according to the person spoke on condition of anonymity because there was no authorization to speak publicly on the matter.
While not directly saying he would confess or apologize, Armstrong sent a text message to The Associated Press early Saturday that said: "I told her (Winfrey) to go wherever she wants and I'll answer the questions directly, honestly and candidly. That's all I can say."

And so his path to redemption with the American public begins. It's the same thing every time something like this happens. Trusted, admired, worshiped public figure disgraces self, loses respect and faces financial ruin, defiantly denies everything, is proven guilty, loses face, decides to admit everything, issues "sincere" public apology, works in some sort of public service role or function to help others in society in some way impacted by the naughtiness associated with the disgraced, usually while expressing great humility and contrition, slowly rebuilds trust with gullible American public, reclaims some (or exceeding) level of fame and fortune, iniquities are forgotten, or at least pushed into the background, and America pats itself on the back for its collective generosity in giving the reformed a second (third, fourth, fifth) chance. More often than not, "finding God" is mixed in there somewhere.
I sound cynical, I know, but I've seen this routine far too many times to believe it is genuine in each instance. It seems more like a choreographed, well-rehearsed PR dance to me.
To hell with Lance Armstrong. _________________

Chris Kluwe on Ellen yesterday. He's going to have some sort of tv or radio show when he's done in the NFL. _________________

The Masters winner has been dating Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn since November, and he is so crazy about her that he took her on a romantic trip to Antigua! |

What? Now another Minnesota athlete dating another celebrity? And a known cheater as well? And I really liked Lindsey Vonn. _________________

Stratifying patient risk for a test... not so fun when you have a time limit. _________________

If anyone is trying to shed some weight after the holiday. I've been doing this for about a week and really like it. It will hurt you, but its only like 40 minutes for each workout including warm up. I emphasize stretching before and after. Its designed for beginners intermediate, and advanced training.
