Both Spags and Flajole were let go. In the article on nfl.com Payton is quoted saying they are switching to a 3-4 defense. Who are the Saints looking to grab?
what happens with Spags and Flajole. |
With the Saints - My money is on Romeo. Too much sense.
It's actually a really good move by the Saints. They have the personnel for a 3-4 if they grab a NT in the draft (like John Jenkins). Their ILB are stout and they have some talent at 3-4 OLB. Still if Keke Mingo or Dion Jordan fall in their laps, that might be tempting.
With Spags/Flajole - they'll catch on somewhere as position coaches. Man what a fall from grace for Spags though. _________________ Wishlist for 2013: WR, FS, OL, OLB |

That is awesome for you all.
And Frank Bush was probably our best positions coach and no one has no idea why he was let go. He is going to be very helpful in any development of young guys and you got a steal with his hiring! |
Excited about Frank Bush but not really sure about Rob Ryan. Ryan has to have taken the job with the understanding Fisher runs everything. I can't see Fisher giving Ryan free reign. Ryan just has to be a motivator and run a meeting during the week, right? _________________ Wishlist for 2013: WR, FS, OL, OLB |

Everything I've ever heard about Spags makes him out to be a control freak. The last time that approach produced good results was in the 80s. _________________
