Everything I see says Johnson is going high.. so Khodder is definitely right.
I have a feeling Warmack or Johnson are going to St Louis in the first.. depending how it all pans out. |

Agree with both posts
Thought the second part about the Rams really annoys me (they are going to get much better quickly) |

I'm not a big fan of Lane, I think he needs more of a pop when he comes off the line. Not a ton of initial explosiveness that I think is needed with the defenses in our division _________________

I'm disagreeing on Johnson going top 20. He's two years older than Fisher with a thin frame and less experience playing tackle. I think Joeckel or Fisher will be there for us then it gets tricky. Trade up for a QB or settle for Minter/Warford/etc... _________________

You know what.. had Matthews and Lewan declared, you would have a valid point. But he will go in the top 20, there are plenty of teams in the 1-20 range that need tackle help and he's up'd his stock quite a bit during this week. |

Johnson will rise, prob late 1st round, though his tape isnt great.
He is still learning the position.
He will not be there at 38, as teams picking ahead of us in round 2 all could do with another tackle. |

Wasn't he considered a 2nd rounder last week? Did 3 days of drills really put him into the mid-1st? I know the OT class drops off after Fisher/Joeckel but the draft is strong at other position in the 13-25 range. I see some predictions of Johnson going to STL but Cooper is better and the WR class is solid in the area of their second 1st rounder.
He looked good in Mobile but not dominant like Fisher. Maybe that'll change in Saturday... _________________

Jesse Williams NT Bama, is back home in Brissie for a few weeks and the Aussie media is going bonkers.
He visited the Brisbane Broncos (rugby league team) yesterday and stood beside the players and dwarfed all of them, getting his own jersey XXXXL etc
He is being touted as an NFL 1st round pick and how he is going to smash the 225 lb bench press and how he can bench 600 lb or whatever.
Will be the first aussie non kicker to make NFL I believe and highest ever drafted Aussie.

I dont think he is that good. He got handled by a no name guard on texas a&m all game 1v1. Watched a few other games and was not thoroughly impressed. I think he is the product of the sum of the parts which are greater than the piece as a solo. |

I think he is a solid 2nd rounder
Maybe late first to the Ravens to replace Nagota.
Aussie media said he was going to be highest paid aussie athlete, so dont give them much cred.
Bogut earns $12 mil, then there are heap of others earning more than Jesse will. |

Depends on who you ask I know many guys who went to the Senior Bowl and previous to that point had him ranked among their top 3 OT's and in the top 25 in the draft.
Lane is a classic case of being missed by the media so people are down on him as a prospect. All this week did is bring him to the attention of the media.
Johnson could get as high as 11 and likely no lower than 22. I doubt he falls out of the first round. Not with teams like the Chargers, Rams x2 and Bears all needed LT help and all picking in that 11-22 range. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Head Coach Sean Payton confirmed to the media after the firing of DC Steve Spagnuolo that the Saints will be moving to a 3-4 season next season. This will drastically change who they target in the draft, which could have a serious impact on who is/isn't available to us on days 2 and 3. _________________

Gotta wonder about Dysert in round 2 after a showing like the one he had this week. Buchanen's size worries me too. Not many 3-4 OLBs stand that tall. _________________

Agreed, be interesting to see how he shows in LB Drills, but he has 1st round pass rush ability that got turned around after having his jaw wired in the offseason leading to him losing 20 pounds (And playing much of his senior season at 6-5 225-230.
I like what he brings to the table. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
