What makes you like the hire? |
Where ever hes been, he`s had a great LB core. Some examples in the recent years off the top of my head includes Brian Cushing, Demeco Ryans, Colin McCarthy, and Zach Brown. He has gotten good production from those guys early in their careers. Will Witherspoon also revitalized his career under Bush.

That name takes me back to a dark place. So many bust free agents/draft picks in those days.

Hey WW was totally worth Brandon Gibson, Hall Davis, Marquis Johnson, & Eugene Sims. Thats how you build a roster!
Actually if we would have gotten the guy who was actually selected with that Draft Pick, I would have been very happy. That would have been my guy Rashad Jones, one of the best up & coming Safties in the league. You guys think we could have found a spot for him? |

It's just the era man. It was right around that time when it became apparent to me that we were headed down hill fast. We never should have replaced Vermeil with Martz or Warner with Bulger.

Both Spags and Flajole were let go. In the article on nfl.com Payton is quoted saying they are switching to a 3-4 defense. Who are the Saints looking to grab?

That is awesome for you all.
And Frank Bush was probably our best positions coach and no one has no idea why he was let go. He is going to be very helpful in any development of young guys and you got a steal with his hiring!
