On the topic of aging 'elite' vets being traded this offseason...not that his situation is all that similar to Revis, but what sort of value does everyone think we'd be looking at if we move MJD?
Coming off a completely missed year, slowing down a bit, probably looking for more money and more years on a contract, tons of wear on the tires...Seems really tough to peg down a prospective value for him.
I mean, there are bound to be some 'win now' teams that would have some interest. But at what sort of price? Thoughts? |

Huh. Trading one guy unhappy with his contract for another? But at least Revis can probably play for more years than MJD. I'm not so sure the Jets see themselves as a "win now" team. Though Rex might need to win immediately, I think most understand that team is too flawed to see a drastic turn-around next season. Long story short, I actually would not make this trade as I suspect Revis would force the Jaguars into a bad Cap situation.

We have plenty of cap space, Top-5 in the NFL iirc

Was not aware of that. However, things change and I'd play it safe as often as a can. It will free up money to resign the key players you guys draft.
