Simple question. Should our DL coach be fired? We have never been great at generating pressure up front as a whole with him. This year was a little better, but I attribute that moreso to Nolan's scheme than anything Hamilton did with our defensive line. I say we give him another year, and give him a few more toys to play with, like drafting Ansah(if he's even there) and a DT in April and see where we are this time next year, but my patience is wearing thin. _________________ Dirty Bird Watch: Sean Weatherspoon

His positions as a whole have underperformed. I say fire him... _________________

*Knock on wood*
I'd say fire him if you have somebody already in mind. I feel our interior defense has gotten a little better recently though, and its not like he's got anybody other than John Abraham at defensive end to really work with. _________________

| Lack of production is a result of lack of elite talent. Besides Abraham, we need need more effective pass rushers. Edwards did not work out and Beirman is good (but not great). He is working with 5,6,7 rounders and trying to develop them. |

I don't think he is the problem. He doesn't really have anything to work with. Babs is his only really consistent tackle. Peters should be good after an offseason. He doesn't have a stud DE. _________________

I think we should get rid of him. I know there havent been great players on the line but theres Abraham and Babs who are big talents. Then Peters, Jerry, and Biermann who are solid guys.Walker, Massaquoi, and Sidbury arent that bad either. A change couldn't hurt but we still need a big DT and a dynamic pass rusher at DE or maybe even 2. _________________
