Still had more catches than everyone other than Blackmon. His numbers still illustrate my point of saying he had a good year and was a good pick. Yards could improve. Regardless I think he was the best rookie WR.
With inconsistent QB play and a bad total offense he still had a good season.
My main point remains. Wr was a better pick than an OG. |

I think he got worse as year went on. Looks like they beat him down and finally convinced him that big plays were impossible for a Titan. _________________

Pretty much the whole offense got worse as the year went on. |

Titans have history of taking natural talent and squashing it with cautious over-thinking. They took Air McNair and had him throwing at his receivers feet for 5 years, afraid to make a mistake. _________________

^This
Horrid Oline thanks to injuries, Locker was extremely inconsistent, play calling seemed to get even more stale after Palmer had left. I don't put it on Wright. But people still crying about it... Ya can't change it I felt we should have taken Jones or DeCastro as well but guess what IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. So stop _________________

In the long run the Wright pick will end up being a bad choice.
Wright may end up as a "good" WR, I don't doubt that, but he was not the best WR in that draft and will never be a dominant outside WR. Which is what you hope for in a 1st round WR.
And if he truly was the best pick available.. try to find a way to trade out of it. But there were some pass rushers available, Zeitler was there, Harrison Smith.. a couple others. |

If we had taken Mike Iupati in '10 and DeCastro in '12, The O-line would not be a concern today. _________________

Uh why? Our guards in 2010 were not bad. Jake Scott in 2010 was a top 10 guard and Harris/Amano were not horrible. Derrick Morgan was the right pick and now that he's finally healthy he's showing it. I don't know if he'll ever be a dominant pass-rusher but he's a beast in the run game and I see him getting better with pass-rush as he works more with Millard. DeCastro I do agree with. _________________

If you are going to be a winning team, you need to plan ahead. Can't be waiting until your O-line completely sucks before you start to address it. _________________

This...
certain people just want to complain. They'd rather get in a premature 'I told you so' than talk about the future of the franchise. This thread is about the 2013 draft, not the 2012 one. Lets stay on topic. _________________

I can agree with this...
They did that with QB position. |

Looks like Manti's "girlfriend' was mastermind Ronaiah Tuiasosopo posing as a woman. This story is getting more and more bizarre. How could he talk to someone for over a year, sometimes for hours at a time and not know it was a dude? Also how could Tuiasosopo talk in a high pitched voice for that long for hours at a time? Manti is going to fight this for the rest of his pubic life. SMH

What is up with Tuiasosopo to chat with Manti as a woman for hours on a time. We aren't to talk about sexuality and all that here, but he has something going on, if he enjoyed doing that.
I could somewhat understand if he was talking to say Halle Berry claiming to be some superstar dude.....but he was talking to another man...... |

Manti is the either the most gullible guy in this year's draft or he was aware he was talking to a guy. If he really fell for this what makes him think he can handle the temptations thrown at a professional athlete on a daily basis? He is going to have to have a chaperone to go to the grocery store with him and to monitor him when he is on the computer at all times. _________________
