has been a pro scout for us the past two years and helped train cam with chris weinke down at IMG during the lockout. solid hire.
only other options were like... jim zorn or jeremy bates. or a college guy i guess.

He seems exactly like what you'd expect from a coach. Smart player, just none of the physical skills that are required at the NFL level. The type of guy who always got by 90% on the mental side of the game.

Yup. I like the hire. Has history with some of the players and, like you said, only thing limiting him was physical ability.

Good hire. Cam has the physical tools, maybe he can teach Cam the mental part of the game and get Cam "over the hump". That's the only part of Cam's game that is lacking is the mental part. When Cam's down, he's down.
