His last words and his coaching don't match.... |
McCoy wanted to bring in his own guys, Joiner was a victim of that. Joiner didn't want to coach with anyone else but the Chargers so he retired. _________________

Not here yet, we'll hire one in the next few days though, not too big of a worry IMO. _________________

So looks like LBC gets his wish, we'll likely run a system much more geared towards the ZBS rather than the power man system we ran last year, probably fits our personal better as well. _________________

Also safeguards in case Fisher manages to boost his stock above Joeckel's and our next best options at tackle are either Joeckel (who I think struggles as a rookie starter in any power-based scheme) or Dallas Thomas (preferably as an option in the 2nd round).
Was Buffalo really running heavy zone last year? Guess I wasn't paying as close attention.
Also, Graves our new WR coach (for the folks that didn't hear Joiner was out of contract and elected to retire - he is 65 after all), has a reputation for using some unorthodox tactics in drilling/training his guys - like having them catch bricks (and while that sounds kind of off - it's that technique that Jerry Rice credits for helping him develop his naturally "soft hands"). _________________

Talked to a couple of Bills fans over in their forum just a little while ago, and thats what they said. Didn't watch too much Buffalo Bills football recently. _________________

Our one NFL caliber Olineman(Vasquez) doesn't really fit it. _________________

Hardwicks best fit is easliy a ZBS, and that makes him quite a bit better. Vasquez isn't the ideal fit for it, and is probably a little better for a MBS but he can definitely play it. But the ZBS can make Green look like a starting OG, and its much easier to find OT's that can be instant starters for the ZBS. It makes our situation a lot easier. _________________
