well time for a new mock now that we got pretty much everything all set to go
Free Agency
- Andy Levitre- I think I have put him in each and every one of my mocks so far, I really just think he is a very good overall lineman, he can run block, he can pass block, he can play center, guard or tackle if you need him to. He is durable, has started every game of his career. Will be our big money signing
-Alex Mack- Center- Mack has earned himself a new deal and since we have to spend a bunch of money we lock him up.
-TJ Ward- SS- We once again give one of our own a new deal, TJ has been one of our better defensive players, he is always making plays in the running game and I think his coverage ability has improved, can be used the way Horton used Wilson.
and maybe add a few more smaller pieces, not sure yet.
Draft
*We have a trade, the jets being the jets trying to make some big time news trade us their first and 2nd to move up to 6th to take the surprise faller of the draft Geno Smith*
1- Dion"The Praying Mantis Jordan-OLB-Oregon- ok well we need a pass rusher and I have Jordan as my #2 behind Moore, Jordan imo has as much potential as any pass rusher in this draft, athletically the guy is freaky, and he has only been playing defense since his Soph. year. He also has very good coverage ability.
2- Jordan Poyer- CB- Oregon State- I dip into the other side of the civil war with our next Pick. He has been a bit inconsistent this year, but imo has as good of ball skills as any corner in this draft, Horton also likes corners who are not afraid to hit, which Poyer is not. I think working with him and Haden, he can still stay aggressive but play smarter.
3- Travis Kelce-TE- Cincy- Chud loves his TE, and Kelce could very well end up being the best one from this class, at 6'5 he is a nice tall target in the RZ and the middle of the field, and at 260 is big enough to be utilized as a decent blocker, and I saw him rip apart my Syracuse this year.
4- DJ Swearanger- FS- South Carolina- Swearanger is a bigger free safety and sometimes could get confused with a strong safety but the guy is very athletic, shows good ball skills and plays like TJ in the run game. This guy is absolutely fearless on the football field.
5-Lonnie Pryor- FB-Florida State- Now Pryor is not your traditional FB, he is not a big bruiser who is going to blow guys up, imo he kind of reminds me of Jacob Hester, someone who worked out nicely for Norv.
6- Ryan Allen-P-Louisiana Tech
7- Ray Graham-RB-Pitt

I like this mock.
Add a WR in free agency and it's great. i don't think Momass will be here next year. _________________

Levitre is the type of guard Chud/Turner like
Mack and Ward will be under contract all of 13, don't see the need to lock them up early.
Your number 1 pick has shoulder(surgery)/playing-weight issue's _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Called an act if good faith , showing players if you play well you will be rewarded. I would rather spend money on guys who have been here and earned it rather than overpaying for a merc.

A shoulder injury that should heal fine, lets wait till the combine to see what he actually weighs in at, and even if he is undersized a bit he has a frame to add weight. I am not putting Mingo in my mock. _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

Why. I think he was totally miscast as a 43 DE and projects extremely well as a 34 OLB. His college career for example even reminds me of Aldon Smith's college 43 career who was also miscast as a 43 DE. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I personally don't like Him as a prospect, I think he doesn't use hands anywhere near as well as aldon did, and I think he tries to just run past people too much, just my preference _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient
