Per Pompeii - Bears hire Mike Clark as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Formerly with the KC Chiefs (4 years) and the Texas Aggies (14 years)
Per Jeff Dickerson - there were some rumblings that coaches and players were unhappy with the strength program last season, and especially the strength program for the OL.

Seems to have a pretty good track record and was on the Seattle staff as well under Mike Holmgren…hopefully he can get to work with the Oline and guys like Shea McClellin, Chris Conte and Evan Rodriguez to get them to their full potential. |

Mayers has not officially accepted the job yet, apparently waiting to see if he's going to get the Alouette's job first.

However they are wording it Kromer isn't going to be able to spend as much time with the Oline as he did in NO because he will now have a bigger say in the offence as a whole...so whoever they bring in to be the day to day Oline only coach is going to be important...
Meyer would be a good hire but he hasn't signed yet. |
