Veteran DE id like Osi but idk
Draft DE Alex Okafor and any other top DE TOP DE
Veteran TE Jermichael Finely
Draft Joseph Fauria since TE might not be a high round need _________________

Michael Johnson may be the top FA choice, but seeing how much money the Bengals are under cap I dont see how he hits the open market.
Who knows which DE will drop in the draft, but the potential is there. _________________

Even if yo are in a win now you still think about the future. Most of the time you don't get immediate performance out of ends. They are like receivers in that they need a few years to develop. TD has shown he can't hit on FAs. _________________

I wouldn't say hes shown that he can hit on DEs in the draft either
How sick would it be if Massoquoi breaks out next season, we draft Okafor/some other 1st round DE and he shows promise, Abe continues to play well, and Matthews continues to be a solid contributor?!? We would be stacked! _________________

Yeah. There are also many reports of him being a less than desirable character in the locker room. His blocking isn't that great either. And while GFalcon may point to his decent stats, take into account that he was playing with Aaron Rodgers. He underachieved tremendously in that offense with the talent that he has. Again, I'll pass. _________________

Jared Cook over Finley and Keller... Finley isnt even a FA.
Johnson is the only DE I'd bother looking at and Cinn is gonna lock him up. The rookie class has several DE's for us to look at but if one of the FA TE's dont shake loose, TE is prolly a much bigger need seeing as we still have Abe and Kroy still in the fold... Best guess, Cook (Te) and Ansah/Okafor/Montgomery (DE)( Whoever drops) from the draft.... And if Eddie Lacey somehow dropped to us in the 2nd, not gonna happen, Id be a happy Falcon!!! |

No on a big time FA. We have around 6 mil to play with and I bet we have some contracts to renegotiate soon.
We can cut a few guys and have room for a guy like Jared Cook, and he would do wonders as the third option(Martellus Bennett as well).
DE wise, we need you g blood that is good. A top tier FA will cost too much with our cap. We also need someone to contribute now, so a Okafor from Texas in th first round would be perfect. Ansah and Jordan would be horrible picks and would put our pass rush back another 5 years. _________________
