15/16 of Kaep's completions came on...
First/second down. |
Lot of runs on 3rd downs |
I think his only completion on third down was to VD for a FD.
Easy for us to run it on third down when it is 3rd and short. _________________

The point is looking at preparation longer than 7 days (including 10/11 days from TNF games to Sunday/Monday games too). But if you want to look strictly at bye weeks
Bye week 2011- 20-10 W over Browns
Playoffs 2011- 36-32 W over Saints
Bye week 2012- 24-24 tie vs Rams
Playoffs 2012- 45-31 W over Packers
3-0-1 record with a full bye week. |

Are you trying to be critical of him? I don't get it. Yeah, if a certain someone else had that stat line people may be complaining, but who cares? Kaep has been incredible and we are playing for #6 in 2 weeks _________________

nope not being critical of him. I'm not complaining about anything. Just surprised that even though we were trailing, Kaep didn't throw as much(due to the fact that most of those completions were for big gains).
It was easy for us to run it on third down when it was a short gain especially since our Oline was once again able to create holes for Gore, LMJ, and even Dixon. _________________

i didnt read it as him being critical but more like he did such a good job on the early downs that it made 3rd down easy. opposite of what has been the norm for us. _________________

He averaged 14.5 yards per completion. Just amazing. _________________

not sure if you saw it in the ATL's gameday thread but you have a name very similar to one of their members lol.
I believe his name is adam9? When I saw, my first thought was he became a falcon fan? _________________

Great game today fellas. Wish you the best now that the game is over, and you have a very talented team that should be a stalwart in the playoffs for many years. Didn't take any shortcuts, and built a team the right way. Kudos. _________________

fast forward to the second half. the first half was a heart attack... |
So I am seeing. Looks like the team indeed came out flat in the 3rd game. Guess they finally got their crap together in the 2nd half along with the Falcons letting another lead slip. |

i share the same sentiment as sbrown did earlier. i am obviously very excited about what the team did today and the potential for #6 in 2 weeks, but i will stay very reserved because being 28 i was alive for all, but '81 and i can tell you anything aboout all 5 Super Bowls as i have studied it enough.
It's been a long time coming. Enjoy this because it's an accomplishment, but its far from what we all want.
- Kaep was pretty damn impressive today
- Goldson may have had one of his worst games i have seen today, but i still love the guy
- Aldon seems to be getting closer
- How about Gore, Smith and Randy

Neat trick to make lists look longer. |
You forgot the first home game of the season, and the first away game of the season. _________________

Thank you, you guys are a great fan base and have been nothing but classy from the start. Best of luck to a good off-season for you guys.
Also....I envy your wide receivers. _________________
