Our special teams have been abysmal since around when Harbaugh left, he was supposed to fix it and failed miserably.
Only shining example of excellence was Dorenbos...but he's the #1 Magician, Long Snapper, and Player in the league so it had nothing to do with April in the slightest.

Our special teams was poor the last couple of years. Part of this was on coaching, part of this was that the players playing special teams either could be bothered (as they felt they were too good for it) or just weren't talented enough to be on an NFL roster.

April was the best Special Teams coach in the NFL for the Bills.
Seems like Philly fans weren't happy with him though. Although I think it has more to do with the players than April. He is great.

I don't think it's a bad idea to roll the dice on April to see if he still have it.

I do maintain that Andy Reid was so bad at drafting we couldnt even field a decent special teams. Our depth was abysmal.
So he could be better in oakland.

Eagles fans hate Santa Claus.... They're just not happy with anything haha. Also, who's to say it want the players and not the coach as to why they weren't successful? We'll see how he does in Oakland. I'm intrigued.

He had a couple nice plays set up over the last couple years with us that our trash players screwed up royally. The fake punt pass in Chicago one comes to mind.
