Chargers say they'll also retain def. coaches Joe Barry (LBs), Greg Williams (asst. LBs) and Don Johnson (DL). No mention of Ron Meeks (DBs)
 | Now if we can just get Hal Hunter out of here.. _________________

I think they're going to let Phil dropkick him out of the state. _________________

So far as I know he doesn't have a job. When he was elevated to OC, he turned over his duties as OL coach to John Sullivan (not that Sullivan's any prize either). But in order for Whisenhunt to be hired to fill a vacancy at OC there had to be a vacancy at OC - which would have meant that Hunter was released.
Meeks I'd like to see let go as well. Maybe it really was Pagano's intent to play that much zone, but it didn't/doesn't play to the strengths of our DB's and just felt forced. If Pagano is derivative from Wade's tree and makes efforts to emulate his brother and Wade then that means man-coverage, even if it's off-man, not zone. _________________

We got a new ST's coordinator...
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Cardinals dismissed defensive coaches - LB, DL and DB coach. Plus Cardinals special teams coach Kevin Spencer hired as Chargers ST coach.
Cardinals ST's seem pretty solid, but cant really say anything other than that _________________

Don't know how I feel about all this infusion of Cardinals' staff...

I don't dislike it. When Wis had a good QB(Warner), they were a legit team and made it to the super bowl. So hopefully, Rivers can get a line bounce back at least a little this year and Wis and McCoy can take us somewhere. |

If Weddle starts playing more like Adrian Wilson and babyzilla goes Darnell Docket then I will be really impressed with the Cardinal infusion. We haven't had a coach with Superbowl experience since... Bobby Ross? _________________

Buffalo's line was very good, so D'Alessandris sounds like a great hire.
Graves is from the Panthers
Graves has been known to employ some unorthodox tactics as a coach; his receivers routinely catch bricks in order to improve their hands
Will Meachem's brick hands be able to catch bricks? _________________
