Aggies hanging tough with Kentucky....Elston Turner with 25 points in the first half? thats crazy! Hes got a chance to play himself into the 2nd round of the NBA draft if he can get his numbers up to 18-19 a game range _________________

As someone who has watched him for three years, I strongly disagree. The CJ Leslie you saw today was pretty much the ideal CJ Leslie. The CJ Leslie you can expect from game to game can't defend the post, has an offensive game largely limited to high post iso moves and transition baskets, and generally doesn't try very hard on either end unless he thinks its an important possession or game (unless he thinks he can get a weakside block, in which case he swats it into the stands with all his might, often getting called for goaltends in the process).
I'm glad he's on State and he's a very good college player, but I just don't think his game and work ethic will translate to the pros. It will take pretty much the ideal situation for him to pan out. _________________

Rough game for the basketball team, but you can't turn the ball over 12 times in the first half and let Indiana shoot 66%. Especially when you are on the road. Down 35 at one point, 29 at half, we came back and were down 3 points with 6 seconds left. One rebound away from a tie.
Yes we lost, but on the road to a good Indiana team. I'm really excited to see what we do in March, we could go far, very far.
Up next, we host Michigan, who will be then new number 1 team. This would be a great win for us. I highly recommend watching the game! |

JH, you forgot TD's Gophers in the thread title
Speaking of those Gophers, they have a HUGE game against #5 Michigan tonight on ESPN. _________________

Huge game, just finishing up at work then walking next door to the Barn. Very excited, but nervous. After a loss at Indiana, we really need a win here and can get it.

lol no, today is Hockey Day Minnesota. One of the best days of the year. Starts with 3 outdoor high school games. Then the Gopher vs North Dakota game and finally the Wild season debut.
Gonna be great!!! |

Our bball team received 2 votes in the AP Poll! We're 16-1 and perfect in conference play. Our only loss coming @College station against the Aggies and our signature W @OU _________________
