After hearing about it since the day Chud was hired, it's now official. Norv Turner will be our OC.

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm relieved. First time HC's seem to do much better when they have experienced coordinators.
Welcome Norv. Let the speculation begin on personnel and scheme. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

I like this move a lot, Norv is a great play caller
We have the protege in Chudzinski at HC, the teacher and mentor in Turner at OC and Norvs son who is well versed in what Chud/Norv want to do on offense attached to their young WR's hips teaching them the intricacies of it
This is a lot of continuity on offense between guys who know and share the same visions. Should allow Chud to do his job at HC because he has people he knows and trusts working on the details of it all on offense |

| I am legitimately excited about a coaching staff of the Browns! It's unbelievable. |

Yep. So many trolls on twitter laughing at the move.
Yet lots of league personnel are applauding it.
Hmm who to listen to? _________________

x2. Norv + Richardson + Quality Oline = Heavy emphasis on the run, and a lot of play action. Here's hoping the new staff and front office give Weeden a chance to develop and not do the usual Browns deal and give up on him early. Would love to see Cleveland have a competitive team. Best fans period. Wish Dallas had them. |

Exahles deep breath of relief.
A huge coup. Heading into FA as well we are looking more and more competitive to the best on the market. |

The twitterverse is full of pavlov's dogs. Browns headline? Laugh at the Browns. Acquire a good player or coach? Pity that acquisition for going to Cleveland. PFT comments are included in that mix.
We're getting better though. Gradually their laughter will become more nervous, until the day when we will crank up the volume and legitimately play that clip of Drew Carey yelling "Shut Up!!!" at our '99 opener. |
