Baltimore is pass heavy, which is one of there biggest problems this year. They underused Ray Rice badly this year.
San Fran was run first, but since the QB switch, they've become much more of a balanced attack.
And New England is absolutely, unquestionably, a pass heavy team.

Seattle was run heavy, but became much more balanced as Russell Wilson progressed.
Denver is pass heavy, especially since there RBs kept on getting hurt.

Cinci is run heavy? No way. At most they're balanced, but their entire offense is based on Dalton passing to Green.
I'd say that Washington is pretty balanced, too, since they use the run game to set up a pretty lethal play-action passing attack.

By my count, that's 6 pass heavy and 6 balanced.
Not that it matters much, since Ogletree isn't much, if any, worse against the run than Te'o is. And that's more a knock on Te'o than anything, since Ogletree is still very raw in run support. |

Out of curiosity, I looked up the pass play/run play ratio for each team in the playoffs so far:
Wild Card Losers (1 game only):
Bengals: 30 Passes, 16 runs (4 by QB)
Vikings: 30 passes, 29 runs (7 by QB)
Colts: 54 passes, 30 runs (4 by QB)
Redskins: 29 passes, 23 runs (6 by QB)
Wildcard Winners (2 games):
Texans: 89 passes, 62 runs (5 by QB)
Packers: 72 passes, 47 runs (5 by QB)
Ravens: 57 passes, 71 runs (5 by QB)
Seahawks: 62 passes, 65 runs (15 by QB)
Bye Week Teams (1 game):
Broncos: 43 passes, 41 runs (1 by QB)
49ers: 31 passes, 43 runs (16 by QB)
Falcons: 35 passes, 26 runs (1 by QB)
Patriots: 40 passes, 24 runs (1 by QB)
So, 9 teams passed more than they ran, and 3 teams ran more than they passed.
Also, I specified QB runs, since I think that Ogletree will be effective on those plays with his elite speed. |

How many of those "run heavy" teams actually line up with 2 TE 2 rb type sets? How many of those teams are the old fashioned "run heavy"
None
Washington, San Fran, and Seattle are the new school zone read option running game. Its all about deception and out flanking teams. Thats where a guy like Ogletree is a perfect fit. His ability to run sideline to sideline is elite, as is his pursuit.
The Vikings, and the Texans are really the only 2 teams that are the typical "run heavy" type teams that still beat the hell out of teams. San Fran and Seattle still are to an extent, but both those teams are progressing towards more of a spread option game. |

Obviously playing from behind equals more passes and playing from ahead equals more runs. I figured that since every team was either playing from ahead or behind that it equaled out and the point still stood. |

Yea I just saw that. Granted, Im not too educated on this years draft class, I know if there is one receiver I'm high on, it would definitely be Williams. I saw glimpses of him in the season. Especially, in the high-scoring shootout, hell of a game against West Virginia. Good Size, good speed, good strength, and he made corners look silly much of the time. Hopefully he falls to us in the first place but if so, I really hope we snatch him up. The only thing that has me questioning the excitement I have for this pick is that it is sort of the same feeling I had when Dwayne Jarrett was coming out. I was a huge fan. Saying the Vikings would be stupid to no draft him. I even went so far to say he would be better than Calvin Johnson........I know. But anyway, really high on this guy. Seems like a perfect weapon to stretch the field. |

Not sure I'd say I was impressed yet, but some guys I'm looking more into are Sio Moore (UConn), Devin Taylor (South Carolina), Keith Pough (Howard)*, Kerwynn Williams
