| Quote: | | The city of Charlotte has ample motivation for making a deal with the Carolina Panthers — and it starts with succession plans for majority owner Jerry Richardson. A source close to the team tells me that Richardson, 76 years old and four years removed from heart-replacement surgery, has mandated the NFL franchise be sold two years after his death |

Wow!
So the 125 million is to put in a City part to the Panthers to maybe keep team here.

That's the plan. RT @MMA_PITBULL: with the city giving money to help with renovations will it make it harder for new owner to move the team? |

I would be devastated if the team moved away from Charlotte. I don't live down there, but I love the city and I love this team.
If they went anywhere else, they just wouldn't be the same team. _________________

I don't think we'll have to worry about that for years to come _________________
