| Real quick, before the game ends. I have no clue who to root for in this game. Which team would you rather the Ravens play in the Championship game, Pats or Texans? |

Should. Probably Houston. I think they would be much easier. But I want the Patriots. _________________

| I think it's hard to beat a good team twice in one season. With that logic I'm rooting for Houston, but I like the match-up against New England better. |

I like the matchup vs NE better. But, I will never root for NE so I'm pulling for Houston. _________________

Both will be tough, so rooting against NE by default. _________________

I don't really care at this point, but the Texans aren't receiving a lot of love like us, I think for that reason they'll be the more hungry team coming into the AFCCG... and JJ Watt is unstoppable, no matter an improved OL or not. Also their OL being so good can wear down a defense that has seen a lot of snaps. But then again, at the same time, we beat the Patriots earlier in the season and I'm sure they'll be wanting some sort of revenge and that could make them just as hungry.
I think both teams are share a similar talent level though. So really, it comes down to matchups.. and glory. The Patriots have a lesser pass rush and a win means this team would've eliminated the GOAT QB prospect of all time... and the two GOATs of this generation... all in one post-season. That would make it THAT much more memorable.
But like Flaccomania... I don't like the Patriots, so them losing is never a bad thing. If we lose the AFCCG, I'd much rather it be to the Texans (a team I respect) than to the Patriots (my most disliked team). _________________

I think the Patriots are a much better matchup for the Ravens than the Texans.
As good as the O-line has been in the last two games, I still don't fancy them going up against that front seven of Houston, and I would worry about the Texans on offense as well, with Foster, Johnson and Daniels.
Of course, the Patriots are even better on offense, but I feel like the Ravens have played Brady often enough to be familiar with whatever tricks he and Belichick have up their sleeves. I think they can slow the Patriots down, and the Ravens offense can pass and run on these guys very effectively.
But either way, it's a tough proposition. Of course, the Broncos were a supposedly impassable obstacle as well.
And if the Patriots were to lose to the Texans in Foxborough, I'd still enjoy it immensely. _________________

I'd much rather have New England.. A better story line and higher emotions for both teams. It will make for another excellent afc championship.
Week 3 in our win against them I found a few key points.
1- we gave up 0 sacks
2- Flacco threw very well to Torrey Smith (but now Pats have Talib)
3- ravens shut down the patriots ground attack (less than 100 yards total)
4- Welker and Lloyd killed us...Sure Welker will hurt us a bit Sunday, but our back up CBs are much more comfortable out there after having plenty experience playing all season |

At least Gronk's out. That should hurt them in the running game, too. _________________

Well at least Houston was finally exposed.
So now we have our rematch, fellas! Same arena, same teams, but no more Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff, and a more explosive and exciting Ravens offense and a defense playing for their leader's career!
HERE.
WE.
COME. _________________

It was always going to be New England. Ever since Billy Cundiff went wide left, it was always going to be New England, Brady, and Foxboro. Everything leading up to this was just the undercard. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |
