Our first date was bowling and it was actually her first time. Maybe she was just pretending my idea was a good one, but I thought it was a good one.
We made a pretty consistent habit of going out for a game or two - I throw kind of hard, so I'm only good for about a game and a half.
Seems to me bowling is most fun when you don't take it too seriously. My dad had me in leagues as a kid - he's an incredible bowler, actually tossed a 300 back in the day - so I'm pretty good. Sometimes it's a little tough to not take it too seriously - especially if I get on a roll.
