Can any one explain to me why Banks would fall out of the top 10? and why he wouldnt be the first corner off the board? _________________

Because of the obsession with Dee Milliner despite Banks being the superior player. _________________

Banks isn't near as physical as Milliner. They run about the same. The only reason some people keep fluffing Banks jock is because he made more big plays. I don't Banks is even the 2nd best CB coming out. I would take Rhodes over Banks in a heartbeat, but I like guys that are physical.
Banks in to much of a finesse guy for me. _________________

St. Louis has a pick at 16th and 21st? They fall in love with jokester and e is there it could happen.
Miami is trading for Maclin + 2014 3rd round = Miami's 2nd round pick.
And it's possible. |
yeah Rams already have a very good LT in Rodger Saffold. There needs lie on the other side of the offensive line and at WR. Both of which they can address at 16 and 22.
Plus Les Snead is a huge fan of the Patriots draft strategy of stockpiling picks and moving down. They are much more likely to trade down than move up.
Seriously what makes more sense for Rams? Drafting Joeckel when they have a good LT or drafting Chance Warmack and Deandre Hopkins/Terrence Williams when they are weak at both positions. |
Haha I am sorry but I had to laugh at the bolded part. Saffold is awful. He is hurt every year and he has done everything but give the starting LT job to someone else. If you think the rams don't want a new LT, your crazy... |
He is a little more healthy than Peters.
While every Ram player had a down year in 2011, he played great this year. Two injuries does not make a player hurt every year. Fisher has stated multiple times Saffold is our LT.
If the Rams were going to trade up for Joeckel (which they are not) they would move ahead of the team connected with him not wait to trade with them. Like last year, the Jaguars didn't wait to try and trade with the Rams for Blackmon they jumped them. |

Saffold is far from awful. Why don't you just admit you don't watch Rams games? Yes he missed 6 games this year and 7 last year but he played very well this year when not injured.
For example this is what Profootballfocus had to say about Saffold
Actually, Saffold has been great since returning from injury, and now has the best PBE in the entire league among tackles that have played at least 100 snaps. In 139 pass blocking snaps he has allowed just one sack and only two total pressures.
but go ahead and think you know more than people who get breakdown every game and every snap and get paid to do so. I'm sure people pay you every month for your ability to breakdown Nfl game tape. When Saffold is healthy he is a very good LT. The Rams have no plans to replace him.
Once Saffold returned the Rams only allowed 12 sacks in the last 8 games and 6 of those games were against teams with 36 sacks or more(Seattle, San Fran, Arizona, Buffalo and Minnesota all having good pass rushes). Nearly all of those sacks were allowed from interior pressure. Hence the reason them drafting barret jones or Chance Warmack is more likely. sorry but the stats, analysts and film don't back up what you are saying. |
