You can leave it here if you want or start a new topic if you like. Your call.
As for Ryan, well, let's just say I've got a better chance of going to Arizona to coach than he does. His father burned a lot of bridges here and his attitude has carried down to his sons. This is one of those "when hell freezes over" kind of deals. _________________

Yeh the brothers annoy the heck out of me too, however, if Horton went, I could live with it.
Seems that the Dallas D players like him and they do play hard.
Would be interesting to see how he fits, seeing as daddy was a coach here. |

RT @UTKevinAcee Ken Whisenhunt will follow Lovie Smith to San Diego. Ex-AZ coach to interview Saturday.
After coming close-ish to the Cleveland gig, Whiz gets the interview he's wanted all along.
Tough field though. _________________

Gus Bradley's gonna interview for the Chargers job too. Now that they've hired their GM, their head coaching search is ramping up. _________________

Don't the Rams run a 4-3 and Ryan a 3-4? It seems strange that they would switch if so because Fischer is D minded _________________

Rob Ryan is not official yet, per some source on Twitter. Can't find it right now.. playing in a poker tourney online and only 5 players left.
Rams personnel on first thought could switch to 3-4, but Fisher is a 4-3 guy himself with Tenn, so seems like an odd fit. |

We reportedly have interested in Whisenhunt as OC (pending he doesn't get a HC job). What did you guys think of his playcalling? _________________

He's a pass heavy guy who theoretically likes a power running scheme but we've rarely seen it used.
Some would argue that the play calling is pretty predictable.
I would be surprised if Whiz would take an OC job since we're on the hook for $5.5M anyway, he could take time off and probably get a HC job next year. |

Rob Ryan has coached 4-3 defenses for a while. Did it all those years in Oakland. The schematics of his hire shouldn't be a problem. _________________

I think he can be a very, very good in game playcaller when he is not hindered by the other duties of being a Head Coach. His playcalling in Pittsburgh was very good, and in Carolina under a guy like Ron Rivera with backs like Stewart and Willliams I would think that he would get back to running the football behind what is a pretty good offensive line. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
