JJ Watt made the first team as an unanimous selection with all 50 votes.
Duane Brown also made the first team.
Andre Johnson made the second team. I personally would of put Andre over Marshall. The dude dropped 10 passes this season including 4 sure-fire TDs. Yeah he had 7 more TDs but you give Andre Johnson almost 200 targets and he's going for the yardage record as well. |

I don't have a problem with Marshall over AJ. 11 to 4 tds advantage outweighs 90 yard deficit. AJ needs to improve his ability to get open in the red zone as it's not like there was a #2 in Chicago or even a TE.
Gotta agree with Charles over Arian as well as putting up those numbers on a terrible team with no other weapons is amazing although 15 - 5 tds makes me at least question it a bit.
Really hadn't noticed how well Jacoby did on kickoffs until now. Good grief, he was a good punt returner here although ball security concerns never went away, but he sucked on kickoff returns and was behind McManus, Slaton, Andre Davis, Dexter Wynn on kickoff depth chart while here (in addition to Manning who is great but too valuable to risk). Marciano's gotta go.
I hope the Texans are paying attention to this list next time they have an opportunity to move up in a draft (2010) for special players instead of settling for players like Kareem & Tate who at the very least were not separated by much with 4 or 5 very similar players at the our "need" positions they telegraphed before the draft. #14 Earl Thomas, #15 Jason Pierre Paul, #17 Mike Iupati, #18 Maurkice Pouncey. Each will be 10 year starters and perennial Pro Bowlers. Texans drafted KJ #20. Not the abomination he was earlier, but remains a borderline #2CB which is miles from All Pro.

Arian barely averaged 4 yards per carry. I love the guy, but I don't know if he was a top 10 RB this year.
As far as AJ, his TD issue is not a skill issue, it's a scheme issue. You can't bash Dennison for calling runs every play in the red zone and then complain about Andre not getting open enough. He's just not getting the opportunities that Marshall got. But it's not like it helped the Bears all that much, as they scored TD's on a fewer percentage of red zones attempts than we did, and below the level they scored at last year.
