|

|
I found out officially last night that my source within the Cardinals organization, a close, long time personal friend will remain with the Arizona Cardinals. He told me this morning that will be named to one of the new front office positions within the organization and that a new employment contract is being finalized. Don't ask me what his new position or title is, I will not tell you.
As usual this time of year, I will be having my "interesting conversation" sometime in the next week or 2 (Probably 2, looking at my schedule). This is where I speak at length with my source and ask him open questions from the posters here in our forum which he does his best to answer. Because we've got more posters frequenting our Cards forum these days, I ask that anyone wishing to submit questions keep it to 1 or 2 per person, that way everyone gets a chance to ask something if they wish. _________________

Terrific news Champ.
My question is the situation in general at RB. Will we look for a replacement for Beanie, a true bellcow back that can take pressure off anyone who's playing QB for this team.
I believe an upgrade is needed, but resources are slim. _________________

Although the answers to these questions are dependent on the new HC to be hired I'd like to know...
- What does the team make of its RB situation?
- What does the team think of Floyd, or rather, why has he not seen the field much?
As I do not nearly follow the Cards as closely as Denver, I cannot answer these by myself. My bad if these two questions have already been talked about extensively. _________________

We can answer the Floyd question. He's a rookie, Whiz and the Pittsburgh bunch are notoriously slow with rookies. _________________

My question just has to do with drafting a QB this year.
Has the extensive QB scouting trip turned anything up? Is our FO really high on any QB in the draft? I know it's early and your source may not be willing to name names but maybe just talk about where they are expecting/willing to draft a QB. Is QB in the first an option if Kolb stays? |

Forget that. Press him for names. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I don't have any really good questions, mostly because everyone from this board comes up with everything i want to ask!!! Damn you smart knowledgable fan!!!
Seriously though, if anything from me, can you thank him for what he does, and doing this for us fans. Other then the live game and draft threads we do, this is by far my fav thing to read on this site, and i just want your friend to know how much we appreciate him and all he does. Also congrats on the promotion!!!!!
Side note:
I know in the past people have linked or written things from the conversations onto other websites, i mean don't get me wrong i like all of you guys great, but it would be nice to get the site some more views and hopefully more traffic. More cards fans the better right? _________________

Congrats to him!
Only question I have is, "Is there anyone who will be on next year's team and playing on the defensive side of the ball who can direct the D other than Lenon...and, of course, if there is, who is it?". _________________

Not sure if he will be able to answer this but;
"What sort of skillset does the team want in their Quarterback, Big Arm, Mobility, et al"
Don't accept the copout answer of tall, strong armed, accurate passer with mobility. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
