I can see it now. The Bengals would have 8 different starting QB's by week 12. Each one gets replaced with NBT announcing to the media "i know 'suchandsuchQB' did a good job going for 280 and 2 td's in his first game, but he only got AJ Green 120 yards and 2 td's. We expect better, and as such we're moving forward with Brady Quinn as our QB of the future".

Let the Eagles or Cardinals have him. He's extremely overrated, IMO.

He's getting these interviews based off his last name only.

You cool with Hue Jackson steering the 'O' next year then 'Hokie' ? Got anyone else in mind as potential OC ?

I'd be fine with Hue. I don't have anyone particular in mind to replace Gruden if he leaves, no.

I just don't get the hype surrounding him. If any Bengals coach should be getting consideration for a head coaching gig it's Zimmer, IMO. I've seen nothing special about Gruden that really makes me want him to stay. If he stays, fine. If not, no big deal.

But that's a gut reaction to the last few weeks, and believe me, i feel the same way right now. If he leaves, Hue moves up to OC.

But I hope he stays. When everyone was healthy, this team had some stretches where they were humming. But a few injuries crushed it. It's not so much that the "big" names were hurt like Green or Dalton, it's that the fastest guys were out. I would imagine when BScott got hurt, losing his speed killed about 35-45% of the rushing plays or swing passes Gruden had designed. Losing Sanu's versatility and speed had the same effect. Friends and I always banmter about what kind of plays Gruden was setting up Sanu for during thestretch run vs. the Steelers and Ravens and into the playoffs.

I might cry if he leaves especially for Cleveland.

Not sure why Cleveland would be interested, especially since most of their candidates seem to offensive guys (some might say Zimmer comes across as offensive to some ears Laughing ).

Gruden out for Philly, but could be in play still in Arizona and Jacksonville.

Interviewing in Jacksonville today.

Looks like Gus Bradley got the Jacksonville job.

Now just waiting on Arizona i think. Might get both coordinators back.
