Get it done. Instead of Clemons, I think he should take bruce irvin's previous role at LDE. He can play the run better than bruce and rush better than bryant, that's a needed balance. He could also attempt to replace jason's jones look on this D. Even if it comes to veteran depth, its a good sign. I like scruggs, but he's not the answer _________________

Ya, if the fears of a torn ACL are confirmed then it's almost a necessity to sign him. We need someone who can offer a pass rush in the worst way, plus maybe Edwards can give a little insight into the current terminology that the Falcons are using in their playcalling to go along with what the coaches are seeing on film. |
If we need pass rush in the worst way, Ray Edwards is not the guy we want to call. |
Do you have any other suggestions? I'll take a chance on a formerly unmotivated guy who is playing against a team that cut him. |
I could think of better alternatives because Edwards literally brings no pass rush. I'd rather have KJ Wright rush from the edge. _________________

To be honest with Clemons out i dont think we will sign anyone. I think we will Use Scruggs on passing downs and have Scruggs and Irvin rushing the passer. _________________

Not a bad option, yet we still need to sign a back up for depth in case anything were to happen to either of them. _________________

I wonder how the Hauschka injury will affect this? If we need to bring another kicker on board just in case, but without cutting Hauschka, then that would use the roster spot left by putting Clemons on IR, thus leaving no room to sign another player for depth on the D-line. _________________ “They were threatened by my intelligence and too stupid to know that’s why they hated me.”

Chris Clemons is definitely going to go to IR.
I would say that Pete will end up cutting some random depth player. _________________

Jermaine Kearse or Evan Moore? They both have hands of stone and add nothing to our offense. _________________ “They were threatened by my intelligence and too stupid to know that’s why they hated me.”

And Kearse has been seeing more and more playing time recently, I doubt he goes. _________________ Trying is the first step towards failure

Saw in another thread that Haushka's going on IR & Ryan Longwell signed to replace him.
