I beleive the reason for no PI on those plays is because they are considered screen plays. Meaning the pass is completed at or behind the los. Which also allows the linemen to be downfield leagaly.
I may be wrong but i cant see the refs letting it go for 16 games if it was not leagle |

The issue wasn't downfield linemen.
It was a case of screens about 5 yards down the field and the Green Bay WRs not even attempting to run routes, instead running straight at the Vikings DBs and starting into their blocks prior to the ball being caught. _________________

| correct they were because they can if the ball is not completed past the los. same as a rb screen, the lineman can block downfield before the ball is complete because it is completed behind the LOS. |
