Shad is clearly going about this the right way. Take the time necessary to make sure you get the right guy. The effect of this decision will stay with this team for at least a decade, especially if at some point a QB is taken/passed over by this GM who turns out to be great.
I'd rather we take the time and get this right than rush it and hope we didn't miss something.
To make it to a third interview shows that patience we were talking about. And it also shows that Caldwell is impressing Shad. I think he's probably going to get the job.

I think Caldwell will be the right guy for the job. Especially with the talent on that offense with MJD, Jennings, Lewis, Blackmon, Shorts, Robinson, and Greg Jones. All you guys need is a good QB.

I know you said it is creepy pwny, but there are people saying out there that there is a flight from Chicago to Naples that left a little while ago...Caldwell + Lovie.

Not a fan of bringing Lovie in unless he brings in someone great to be the OC/assistant HC. Those Chicago offenses have been dreadful.

Let's face it, out of the candidates available, Lovie would be a great hire. The offense will ultimately depend more on getting a decent QB than who we hire at OC. And those Chicago offenses were still better than ours. 
Also, our defense was downright stanky, Big L would right that ship.
