Would love to see a new coach come in and switch that defense to a 3-4. Then we could grab Henry Melton _________________

Huh, why would the team switch to the 3-4 and sign Melton. He is a 4-3 UT, it would be a huge risk to assume he can play 3-4 DE. |

He said CHI should switch to 3-4, so we could sign Melton. _________________

The man who ran the Saints’ offense without Sean Payton in the building this year could get a chance to run the offense — and the rest of the team — in Chicago in 2013. Per a league source, Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, Jr. currently is interviewing for the vacancy created when the Bears fired coach Lovie Smith after his ninth year on the job.
Carmichael, 41, joined the Saints in 2006. He previously worked for the Chargers, Redskins, and Browns after six seasons at the college level.

if that happens, maybe he can hire Brad Childress as his OC.
I don't think Bevell would make a good Head Coach. He's best suited to be a coordinator I think. _________________

They can just keep Tice. Cutler said he wanted OC stability. _________________

Per a league source, some teams believe the Bears and Eagles are employing the Al Davis approach to interviewing coaching candidates. Davis was notorious for using a head-coaching vacancy as cover for bringing in assistant coaches from other teams and picking their brains, all under the guise of possibly hiring them.
In Chicago specifically, the feeling is that G.M. Phil Emery wants to get as much intelligence as possible regarding how the various candidates would fix quarterback Jay Cutler and/or a perennially porous offensive line. At last count, the Bears’ list of candidates included Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman, Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, Falcons special-teams coordinator Keith Armstrong, Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan, Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, Cowboys special-teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis, Packers offensive coordinator Tom Clements, and Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

Among the ever-increasing names of candidates scheduled to interview for the head coaching job of the Chicago Bears is a very prominent name from their franchise’s history books. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are expected to interview Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary.
Per the Tribune, the Bears are also scheduled to interview Vikings special teams coach Mike Priefer.

I guess I wouldn't go that far, but I wouldn't be too upset to lose him. They better stay away from Priefer though! _________________
