It really sucks for both Childs and the Vikings that he got injured.
He was kind of the "fill a big hole with a late pick" type deal. _________________ XBL/PSN: Chainedsniper |

I dont think we are as far off as in need of a WR as everyone thinks. I believe this pick up will be a steal. And i am most excited to see him play next season. He could do big things, if he stays healthy. |

Thats a very big if.
If he works out, great. If not, fine. But we can't go into this offseason counting on him to be a major impact. _________________

Agreed. I don't want the Vikings counting on him to be back to perfect form after that injury. Build your WR corps both through the draft and free agency and if Childs is healthy enough to contribute then great. I don't think that an overload of WR's that are good enough to play is going to help us at all.
The interesting thought about Childs is can the Vikings stash him on the practice squad and get him through waivers? He's eligible to be down there and that's where smart money would put him if no other team wants to gamble on him. That move would be dependent on him being able to go after being injured. _________________
